Joe Barrett
Joe began playing music professionally after joining The Ruckus as the bass player during his senior year of Highschool in 2010. Since then, he has played hundreds of shows with The Ruckus, as well as numerous other bands, usually filling in on bass, guitar, or drums. Since 2017, he has been the resident bassist for Jefferson Choral Society. As an active member in the local music community, Joe has hosted open mic nights and takes pride in fostering creativity within the Lynchburg community.
Joe developed a love for teaching music while studying under Victor Wooten and his team at Wooten's "Bass and Nature" Camps in Tennessee. In the years since, he has taught many students, in both private and group settings, such as the EC Glass's Rock Band class as well as Lynchburg Music Center's Summer Rock Camps.
